Reviews describe what our testers saw over weeks of use on their own skin and hair. They are not medical advice: patch test new products and see a dermatologist about skin conditions. Prices are the makers' own and change often. © 2026 Dewscope.

Stylist article page on the reformulated Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, with the headline and a product photograph

Estee Lauder Double Wear Review: A Softer Matte That Still LastsEditor's pickBy Estee LauderYes, the new Double Wear is lighter and easier to blend than the original, and published wear tests say it still survives a long, messy day. It is no longer a flat, one-coat mask, so people who loved that will need two thin layers. At about $52 to $54 it remains the benchmark for oily and combination skin.Oily or combination skin that needs a full day of wear$54$548.1

Maybelline product page for Fit Me Matte + Poreless Blurring Foundation showing the 334 Warm Sun bottle photographs

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation Review: Best Drugstore Pick for Oily Skin?By MaybellineFor normal to oily skin this is still one of the best foundations under $12: medium, buildable coverage, an oil-free formula that is non-comedogenic and fragrance-free, and 40 shades. It wears well for a workday rather than the 12 hours claimed, can oxidize slightly darker, and looks patchy on dry or flaky skin. Go one shade lighter if you are between two.Normal to oily skin that wants a budget matte finish$11.99$11.998.0

NARS product page for Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Cannelle, with the product name and the number one seller claim

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Review: Does It Crease Under Eyes?By NARSA luminous, easy-to-blend concealer in 30 shades that suits normal and oily skin well. It can settle into fine lines and look cakey on dry under-eyes, so dry skin should prep carefully or choose a thinner formula.Normal to oily skin that wants brightness with medium coverage$34$347.9

Haus Labs product page for Triclone Skin Tech Foundation with a deep shade swatch and a $52 price

Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation Review: Arnica or Marketing?By Haus Labs by Lady GagaA comfortable, luminous medium coverage foundation with a wide 51-shade range that disguises redness well while worn. The fermented arnica skincare claim is not independently proven, so buy it for the base and not for any change in your skin.Dry to normal skin wanting medium coverage and a skin-like glow$52$527.7

Rare Beauty product page for Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation in shade 100W priced at $30

Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Foundation Review: Dry Skin VerdictBy Rare BeautyA comfortable, buildable medium-coverage foundation with a very good 48-shade range. The formula opens with light solvents and silicones rather than water or glycerin, so dry or flaky skin gets mixed results unless you prep well. Wear is fair, not long-lasting, and it will not cover scarring or deep discolouration.Normal to combination skin wanting a light, skin-like baseFrom $30From $307.6

IT Cosmetics product page for the CC+ Cream Full-Coverage Foundation with SPF 50+, priced $39.00

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+ Review: Can One Tube Replace Three Steps?By IT CosmeticsA good one-step base for redness-prone and mature skin that wants light-to-medium coverage with some skincare benefit. It will not replace a real sunscreen layer, 'full coverage' is generous, and the citrus essential oils are a mark against it for sensitive or sun-spotted skin. Buy it as a tinted base, not as your only protection.Redness-prone or mature normal-to-dry skin wanting a light, correcting baseFrom $39From $397.2

Dyson Supersonic Nural Review: Is Scalp-Sensing Heat Worth $500?
The Nural backs off its heat as it nears your scalp and pauses itself when set down. It is a real feature, but cheaper high-speed dryers dry hair almost as fast.

Shark CryoGlow LED Face Mask Review: Is the Under-Eye Cooling Real?
Shark's $299.99 CryoGlow adds chilled under-eye pads to a red, blue and infrared LED mask. The cooling is a genuine differentiator, but it costs battery life, adds fan noise and makes the mask heavy.

Maybelline Sky High Washable Mascara Review: Long Lashes for $13.99
The viral drugstore mascara delivers real length and clean separation for $13.99. It does not out-volumize the best prestige formulas, and the washable version trades staying power for easy removal.

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream Review: Still the Best Cheap Barrier Cream

A ceramide tub that costs about a dollar an ounce in the big size and works on face and body. It is thick, jarred and wrong for oily skin in humid weather, but for dry skin nothing cheaper does more.
